Athletics 

State Championships were held on Wednesday 6th November.  

Allegra and Ashley T represented IPS at the SSV State Primary Track & Field Championships which were held at Lakeside Stadium.

Ashley was up first in the 800m as the 4th seed due to her previous qualification times. The burning sun had just come through the clouds and all the girls were affected by the heat. Ashley was a little way off her previous best time but still managed an amazing 7th place.

Later in the day after delays for thunderstorms and lightning the girls both raced in the 1500m. Fortunately the cool change had come through so conditions for racing were much nicer. Against the best competition in Victoria both girls ran strong PBs with Ashley finishing 4th and Allegra in 7th place.

Foundation - Year 2 Athletics Morning

The Athletics Morning for students in Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 will be held at school on Friday 29th November starting at 9.15am
