Our Week 7 Co-Curricular Assembly was a highlight of the term, recognising student achievement across summer sports, cadets, cattle, debating and performing arts. Students were awarded Honours, Colours and CCL Blues, while record-holders from the swimming, athletics and cross-country carnivals were also acknowledged. The assembly reflected the strong culture of participation and excellence across the School.
Netball
Netball continues to grow with 25 teams this season. Students have shown significant skill development, supported by excellent coaching. Representative players include Mila Staniforth, Andie Zinga, Audrey Sharp, Isla Callaghan, Lucy Atkinson, Isla Wass, Hattie Bailey, Grace Lowther, Freya Denman, Lucy Toynton and Jemima Young.
Soccer
Soccer participation has reached a record high, with six teams competing. Representative honours include Liam Vaira (NSW Country) and Wilfred McLeod (Western Region). Orange representatives include Jess Childs, Ellie Brabin, Zoe Fox, Chloe Badgery, Amara Tomlinson, Eliza Lord, Charlotte Pearce, Charlotte Hoskins, Zoe Jones, Lachie Turnbull, Ed McGilvray, Reuben Toohey and Tom Gibson.
Rugby
Rugby participation has increased to over 300 students, alongside expanded coaching and development programs. ISA representatives include Matilda Tink, Kylis Delaney, Phoebe Lyons, Eva Bonington, Maddie O’Brien, Tiari Delaney, Tom Casey, Heathcliff Bell, Declan Dixon, Hamish Leader, Will Maxwell and Harper Shaw.
Hockey
Hockey continues to perform strongly, with representative honours for Stella Mitchell, Abbie Lyons, Isabelle Provost, Phoebe Hunter, Miller Byrne, Ingrid West, Mila Yabsley-Bell and Laura Klein.
Equestrian
The Equestrian team enjoyed success at the Coonabarabran Expo with standout performances from Sid Weston, Imogen Thurgate, Alec Weston, Liliana Granger, Amy Caldwell, George Day and Grace McCormack.














Cattle Team
The Cattle Team achieved excellent results at the Sydney Royal Easter Show and Orange Show, with Maddie Lawrie, Hugh Gain, Zoe Jones and Ingrid Smith recognised.
Cadets
Cadets reported a successful camp and Passing Out Parade, with Michelle Thompson and Kelly Cole awarded the rank of Captain.
Performing Arts & Debating
The Performing Arts Festival showcased exceptional talent, with preparations now underway for Beauty and the Beast.
In Debating and Public Speaking, students have demonstrated strong growth, with Jessica Childs progressing to the regional level, alongside Aria Patel and Lara Hooper representing the School with confidence.
Parent Teacher Interviews (Years 7–12) Face-to-face Parent Teacher Interviews will be held on Monday, 20 July from 1:00pm–5:00pm in the DPA. Bookings open from the close of business on 12 June.
Parking Reminder For safety reasons, the Allenby Road car park is not to be used for drop-off or pick-up. Please use the designated drop-off zones to ensure safe traffic flow.
Boys’ Suits for Year 12 Graduation Kelly Country will once again visit the School to fit Year 12 boys for suits for their Graduation Ball. This service is available to both boarders and day students, as well as boys in other year groups with upcoming formal events, including the Year 10 Formal.
Date: Monday, 27 July Time: Lunch, Periods 5 & 6 (free periods only), and After School Location: Weymouth House
Students will have the opportunity to meet with the Kelly Country team, select their suit, and be individually fitted. Tailored suits will be returned at a later date for collection, with shirts and ties also available if required.
