HICES Cross Country Carnival

On Tuesday 27 May, our students represented the school with pride and determination at the HICES Cross Country Carnival. After a week of uncertain weather forecasts, we were fortunate that the rain held off, allowing everyone to enjoy a fantastic day of competition and camaraderie.

We were incredibly proud of the way our students approached the event. From the first race to the last, they demonstrated resilience, sportsmanship, and a willingness to challenge themselves. Whether they were striving for a personal best, encouraging teammates from the sidelines, or pushing through the final stages of their race, every student gave their very best effort.

A special congratulations goes to the many students who achieved outstanding results by finishing within the top 20 of their age divisions. Their dedication and hard work in training were clearly evident on the day. We are also thrilled to congratulate those students who have qualified to progress to the CIS Cross Country Championships. This is a wonderful achievement and a testament to their commitment and perseverance.

Thank you to all of our students for the positive way they represented our school throughout the carnival. We are extremely proud of your efforts, attitude, and determination, and we look forward to cheering on our CIS representatives in the next stage of competition.
