Routine Focus: Leaving at the end of the school day

To support a safe and orderly dismissal, our routine focus is on Leaving at the End of the School Day. Students are expected to walk calmly and safely from their classrooms to their designated pick-up area and wait appropriately until they are collected.

Students waiting at the Hall or Lowndes Street gate areas are expected to remain seated while waiting. In particular, students at the Lowndes Street gate should be waiting quietly and not using the playground during this time.

Attendance Spotlight:

As the term draws to a close, we have one final attendance trophy presentation at our next assembly. Keep an eye out to see which class wins the end-of-term reward of lunch in the staffroom!

For the first time this year, a class has gone back-to-back, with Middle 3 Nielsen taking out the trophy again. Congratulations! Out of 23 students, 18 currently have an attendance rate of 95% or higher this term.

Below is a snapshot of how our year levels are tracking with their overall attendance rates. Promoting strong attendance remains a key focus across the school, with staff regularly monitoring attendance, following up, and encouraging students to attend every day, on time, and ready to learn.
