MATHS IN THE REAL WORLD

Do you know what Mathematical skills are needed if you want to become an Engineer, Plumber or Tradie, a Doctor, a Restaurant owner, a Librarian, an Orchestra Conductor or any other future dream career you have in mind? Join us to continue with Critical Thinking and apply logic, problem solving and mathematical reasoning to various real life careers with practical hands-on tasks.

Year 1 and 2 will be introduced to fractions, using compasses and diagrams leading to the ratio of pi.

Chatham Challenges Application for 3rd Term 2026

The unit for third term commences week beginning Monday, 20th July.

The unit will run for 8 weeks commencing: Monday, 20th July, 27th July, 3rd Aug, 10th Aug, 17th Aug, 24th Aug, 31st Aug and 7th Sept.
