Spirit of Clayfield Awards
The Spirit of Clayfield Awards celebrate members of our community who embody the values, service and character that make Clayfield College so distinctive. These awards honour the individuals whose quiet leadership, generosity and commitment enrich our College and reflect our motto:Let their light shine. Each category recognises outstanding contributions, whether through service, community impact, professional excellence, or lifelong connection to the College.
We warmly encourage community members to put forward those who inspire others and make a meaningful difference. Nominations can be submitted across all categories, and we invite families, alumni, students and staff to take this opportunity to acknowledge the individuals who help shape the spirit of Clayfield.
A reminder that nominations close on Friday 5 December. If you know someone who exemplifies the heart of our College community, please take a moment to nominate them before the deadline. More information on the award categories and nomination process is available on our website.
Spirit of Clayfield Award - Old Collegians
Spirit of Clayfield Award – Old Collegian is an award which celebrates and acknowledges past students who have achieved outstanding success in one of the following areas:
- Service to their profession
- Service to the community
- Service to Clayfield College
Award Categories
Spirit of Clayfield Gold Award – Old Collegian
This award is for a past student who graduated from the College over 10 years ago (prior to 2016), who has demonstrated significant accomplishments in their personal and professional life, or for service to Clayfield College, their community or country.
Spirit of Clayfield Green Award – Old Collegian
This award is for a past student who graduated from the College less than 10 years ago (2016 and after), who has achieved significant accomplishments in their personal and professional life, or for service to Clayfield College, their community or country within a relatively short period of time.
Spirit of Clayfield Award - Community
This award honours a member of the College community who has demonstrated long-term commitment and has consistently dedicated their time and effort to the betterment of the College and its community. It acknowledges qualities of character and contribution that Clayfield College is proud to embrace and the way that these qualities let the light shine in those around them.
