Trade Skills for Teens at Bunnings Notting Hill

On the 20th November the Year 11 Vocational Major (VM) students who did the HeadStart program attended the Trade Skills for Teens excursion at Bunnings Notting Hill.
When the students arrived, they were given a special store tour and met the Bunnings trade specialists along the way.
Later on, the students participated in a Bunnings Scavenger hunt, where they worked in groups of 4 or 5 to find a number of different items in the store. After lunch, the students gathered in two groups to build storage cubes to donate to a charity.
The students were then gifted a toolbelt, a hat, a screwdriver, a hammer and a tape measure as a reward for the day.
A big thanks to the team at Bunnings Notting Hill for making this possible.
