2026 School Council Approved Contributions are now available to pay via the Payments Centre on Compass. You can see them in the Payments Centre when you login. You can choose to pay Contributions in full or via a payment plan. Several payment plans are available including quarterly, monthly over 10 months or fortnightly over 10 months. If you opt for a payment plan after an instalment date, Compass will deduct payment from your credit card on the following day for past instalment dates with remaining payments in line with the advertised dates.
2026 Contributions are open for payment via the Payments Centre for the full school year, so you do have the option of making part payments at any time during the year when it is convenient to you.
Curriculum Contributions for Year 9 – 12 Subjects/Electives which incur additional costs will be available to pay to pay via Compass Events. These will be published on Compass in December. We are pleased to let you know there are no increases to subject/elective contributions for 2026.
All contributions are very much appreciated. Your ongoing support ensures that we can strive to achieve high-quality educational outcomes, excellent facilities and a stimulating learning environment which engages and nurtures all learners to achieve their goals for the future.
In 2025, we furnished the new Learning and Wellbeing Centre, upgraded student toilet blocks with new paint and vape detectors and landscaped our grounds. We installed new signage as well water bubblers displaying student artwork. We have also invested in modern furniture, appliances and equipment for our STEM Lab. Your contributions allow us to employ a Registered School Nurse and provide extra administrative support, including in our Wellbeing team. All initiatives are focused on providing better learning and wellbeing outcomes for our students. We thank you for your continued support.

We have been advised by Ventura Bus Lines; there will be school bus timetable changes to service S1097 Stud Park Shopping Centre travelling to Wheelers Hill Secondary College coming into effect 28th January 2026.
New timetables will be available on Ventura’s website from 12 January 2026.
When will the new timetables start?

Will all school bus stops have signage?
No. Some school bus stops won’t have signs and may be located across the road from public bus stops that do. Students and parents should check route maps and timetables to confirm which side of the road to wait on.

How do students pay for the service?
From 1 January 2026, all passengers under 18 years of age will be able to travel for free on public transport, anytime, anywhere in Victoria. A new Youth myki card is being introduced, unlocking free travel for children and young people. For information on how to access the new Youth myki card please visit transport.vic.gov.au

Applications for the 2026 Year 7 uniform package for CSEF recipients are now open.
Who is State Schools’ Relief?
State Schools’ Relief (SSR) is a not-for-profit organisation that works closely with all Victorian government schools. Each year, SSR provides material support, including school uniforms, to families experiencing financial hardship.
Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund
The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) was established by the Victorian Government to provide financial support to eligible students to attend camps, sports days and excursions. To find out more, please refer to the Victorian Department of Education website https://www.vic.gov.au/camps-sports-and-excursions-fund
Applications for CSEF support should be made via your child’s school in early 2026.
Each year SSR offers CSEF recipients who are moving into Year 7 the following year, a complimentary uniform package.
2026 Uniform package
The 2026 package contains the following
items:
• 1 bottom item (i.e. pants / trackpants /trousers / shorts)
• 1 pair of shoes
• 1X $85 Uniform Voucher
Please note: SSR uniform provision is in addition to CSEF payments. If you’re aware of a student who is in need of uniform support but not a CSEF recipient, please contact WHSC email business.manager@whsc.vic.edu.au to discuss how we can help.

From 1 January 2026, people aged under 18 can travel free on all Victorian public transport services using a new youth myki card. This includes trams, trains, buses and coach services.
To access free travel, they must tap the myki card on and off each time they travel. For areas that do not use myki cards, they must show their myki card to travel free.
More information about the youth myki card will be available later in Term 4, 2025 – refer to the myki types webpage on the Transport Victoria website.

Please find attached a map of the parking restrictions on Raphael Drive as provided by City of Monash Council. The safety of our students at drop offs and collections is a genuine concern for us all and we ask that you respect the parking signage and speed limits so that everyone is safe.




Wheelers Hill Secondary College are now registered with Return It. You can help us fundraise for student-led projects by donating your refund to us when you recycle your eligible containers.
