Grade 4 Camp Rumbug
Last week, our very excited Year 4 students headed off to Camp Rumbug for three memorable days filled with adventure, teamwork and plenty of laughter. The camp offered a great mix of outdoor challenges including the flying fox, raft building, Jacobs ladder, mud run, team activities, plus more.
The mud run proved to be very challenging. Thanks to plenty of rainfall in the days leading up to camp, the track was filled with muddy puddles perfect for splashing, sliding and embracing the mess. Students threw themselves into the challenge with enthusiasm, emerging wet and covered in mud! Students returned home tired but filled with loads of wonderful memories.
Junior Sports Carnival
Our Prep to Year 2 students had a wonderful time at their recent Sports and Athletics Carnival. Students took part in a range of fun athletics events and team activities, including sack races, hurdles, egg-and-spoon races, and more. Congratulations to Hinkler, our winning house, followed by Nelson, Kingsford, and Monash. There was plenty of house spirit and enthusiasm throughout the day!
Foundation Camp Experience
Last Friday, our Foundation students participated in a "Breakfast at School" event. Students came to school in their pyjamas, enjoyed a nutritious breakfast, and then changed into their school uniforms to practice for future camp experiences.
Grade 1 Museum Excursion
Our Year 1 students had a wonderful time on their excursion to the Melbourne Museum, where they explored the world of the triceratops and discovered a range of remarkable historical artifacts. From standing beneath the life-sized triceratops skeleton to examining ancient objects and interactive displays, students were captivated by the stories these treasures told. The event sparked plenty of excitement and curiosity.
