News from Year Three

Assessment!

Year 3 have shown wonderful effort and concentration during their assessments this week. They approached each task with focus and determination, demonstrating their growing independence and commitment to doing their best. We are very proud of the positive attitude they have shown throughout the week, even when it has been tough!

Conducting Chance experiments

This week, students have been exploring chance through hands-on experiments, looking at situations with more than two possible outcomes. They have been recording and analysing their results to build a stronger understanding of how chance works in everyday situations.

Kangaroo Information Report

Over the last couple of weeks, Year 3 worked hard to gather information for their kangaroo Information Reports. They took notes and planned their ideas before typing and presenting their final work in a booklet with diagrams and photos. They showed wonderful effort and enthusiasm throughout each stage of the process!

Religion - Showing Care and Respect for Others

This week in Religion, we have been sharing what it means to show love and respect to others. We asked each other what this looks like for us and ways we can do something each day to brighten someone's day! We have created a two-week 'Kindness Calendar' to complete, which has some amazing gestures thought out by our lovely Year 3s!!
