Responsible Pet Ownership Visit,
Last week, our students took part in an engaging and interactive Responsible Pet Ownership and Safety program, led by Abbie and her friendly border collie, Daisy. Students learned when dogs should be left alone, the things we should never do to dogs, and how to recognise the signs of a happy, scared, or angry dog. They also practised the safest way to approach and greet a dog, as well as what to do if they are ever approached by an unknown or aggressive dog. It was a wonderful session that built students’ confidence and awareness around staying safe and caring for pets responsibly.
