JLC Newsletter- Grade 1- Week 10, Term 4
As we reach the end of the year, we have completed our final learning topics in both Literacy and Numeracy. Over the past two weeks, students have been consolidating their learning through a range of fun games and hands-on activities. It has been a wonderful way to celebrate their progress and reflect on how much they have grown throughout the year!
Thank you!
The Grade One teachers would like to thank all families and students for a wonderful year. We have truly enjoyed getting to know the children and watching them learn and grow. We wish you all the very best for next year and a safe and happy Christmas.
Thank you,
Halina & Ellie
Week 11 Reminders:

Tuesday December 16th – Students last day
Hello from the Grade 2 Team!
What a year we’ve had in Grade 2 – so much learning, fun and adventure shared. As teachers, we could not be prouder of all our students’ personal and academic growth.
We hope you’ve had a chance to read your child’s report and celebrate all their achievements — and perhaps even noticed how far they’ve come this year.
Students seemed to enjoy meeting their new 2026 teachers on Tuesday. Mr Brown and Miss Stacey are excited about welcoming the Grade 2 group into Grade 3 next year!
Could you please take one final look around the house for any school readers or library books still hiding quietly at home? Please bring them in on Monday morning so we can return them before the holidays.
Next Tuesday (the last day of term), Grade 2 will be watching a Christmas movie rated PG. If you’d prefer your child not watch it, please email their classroom teacher.
Finally, we’d like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful, safe holiday and New Year. Thank you for a fantastic year and all your support along the way.
Warm wishes,
Kimberly Nye, Mary Hyde & Francesca Dovey
