Learning Community 2

23A - Mr. Rennie

23B - Ms. McAsey

As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding school year, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our Grade Two and Three families for your continued support. It has been a wonderful year of learning, growth, and shared experiences.

Throughout the year, students have worked hard across all learning areas. In English, they have developed their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through a range of texts and writing genres, including narratives, information reports, procedures, and poetry. In Mathematics, students have built their understanding of multiplication and division, patterns and algebra, measurement, and problem-solving strategies, showing increased confidence and independence.

Students have also enjoyed learning in areas such as Science, History, Drama, Art, and PE. They have explored how people and communities are connected over time, learned about First Nations perspectives, participated in creative arts, and developed important social and emotional skills.

We are incredibly proud of the effort students have shown, both academically and socially. Many students have grown in confidence, resilience, and independence, and it has been wonderful to see them support one another and celebrate their achievements.

As we move into the holiday period, we encourage families to enjoy time together, rest, and celebrate the successes of the year. Reading regularly, playing games, and talking about everyday experiences are simple ways to continue learning at home.

Thank you again for a fantastic year. We wish all families a safe, happy, and restful holiday break and look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year.

Warm regards,

Mr Rennie and Ms McAsey
