Well, what a great year we have had together. I am so sorry I wasn't at school to congratulate every single student on an amazing year of fun, laughter and learning together! I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching all of Prep Guy cherubs this year, seeing you grow academically, socially and emotionally; what a privilege! Unfortunately I had an accident with a gas bottle, fire ball explosion with our bbq and was badly burnt. I will be going in for surgery in the coming days. I want to thank all the amazing parents that came into our room this year to help with Reading Circles every morning. I also want to thank the Junior team; Miss Stoll and Mrs Murphy for an excellent year working together to make your child's learning experiences the best they can be.
Thank you everyone for your beautiful Christmas presents; I really appreciate your kind, thoughtful gifts.
Good luck to Miss Stoll for her upcoming birth and the arrival of her baby boy.
Making Christmas decorations.

Our last weeks of school have been very busy, finishing off learning tasks and enjoying time learning with a Christmas theme. As you can see from the photos, we have enjoyed our last few weeks of Prep and are ready for all the challenges of Grade 1.

Congratulations to Willow and Beau who won our Reading Night Awards for 2025 with a tie of 324 nights each! Wow, what an amazing achievement. I hope you enjoy your prizes and enjoy reading all of your lives.
Wishing everyone a safe and fun filled Chrissy holiday with your beautiful children. Take care of each other and I will see you all in 2026.
I am beyond privileged to have been able to spend this year with your children. Learning, teaching and growing together and from one another has filled me with joy and made me proud beyond belief. I have adored every moment that I have been able to spend with your children, getting to know them, strengthening our relationships and supporting each other to be our personal best selves. Thank-you for trusting and supporting me with your children, their learning and their development. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and New Years and I hope your holidays are safe and filled with happiness. ❤️
In our classroom over the last few weeks, we have been completing Christmas activities, engaging in transition activities, finishing learning tasks, cleaning our classroom and learning spaces and keeping busy with all of the end of year craziness!
Our Prep/ One Stoll Reading Champions for 2025 are... Congratulations to all students for your reading efforts at home. Your determination and motivation reading at home and learning at school has allowed you to grow your knowledge of sounds, comprehension skills and decoding abilities.
Leo is ready to retire... For now.
Leo will be with me during my maternity leave and keeping my baby company once he arrives. I know all the love poured into him by our students this year will stay with him forever and I'm excited to share that with my baby.
Our final Student Achievers for 2025 were Jax and Ava. I am so proud of your efforts, both in and out of the classroom. Keep making good choices, helping others, being a kind friend and following our school values of being a Respectful Wren, Responsible Ringtail and Resilient Red Kangaroo! Congratulations to all students for being absolute super stars this year! You all deserve to be Student Achiever every week!
I usually sign off our newsletter a little differently however today I will be turning off teacher mode and turning on Holiday and Maternity leave mode! My baby boy is due at the beginning of March and I am excited to take the Holidays to prepare for his arrival and rest before my world flips upside down... For the better of course. Being able to share my pregnancy with 22 beautiful children has been very special and something I will always cherish. If you see me crying on Friday afternoon, please know my hormones are running WILD and the last day of school has always been tricky for me. I wish you, your children and your families the very best now and in the future.
Signing off... Miss Stoll... Kate... A very tired and pregnant teacher who loves her job more than anything but is ready to embrace all that motherhood has to offer with open arms and a full heart.
