Principal's Update

School Tours

I have been conducting many school tours over the last couple of weeks for our 2026 Foundation students and look forward to them starting their schooling journey with our Pre-Prep Program in Term 4. The school is open every day for tours and I encourage families to come and have a look at our school!

Policies

All school policies are regularly updated in line with department requirements. Parents and families are invited to view our policies on the school website, with printed copies available at the school office if you prefer. We welcome feedback and ask that if you would like to speak to us regarding any policies please contact the office.

Uniform Reminder: Upholding Our School Standards

As we continue to promote a focused and respectful learning environment, we kindly remind all families of the importance of students wearing the correct school uniform each day, in line with our school policy.

Wearing the proper uniform helps to build a sense of belonging and pride in our school community, while also minimizing distractions and ensuring consistency across all year levels. We ask for your support in checking that your child is dressed appropriately before they leave for school each morning.

Key points to remember:

  • All uniform items must be regulation school attire (no substitutions).
  • Correct footwear must be worn.
  • Jewellery and hair accessories should be minimal and in line with policy guidelines
  • Make-up is not to be worn to school

If you are unsure about any aspect of the uniform policy or need support obtaining uniform items, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.

Lost property - Please Name Your Child's Jumper!

Our lost property is overflowing again — and the majority of it is school jumpers without names! As you can imagine, it’s very difficult to return items when there’s no name to go by. We kindly ask all families to check that your child’s school jumper (and other uniform items) are clearly labelled with their full name. Labels fade or fall off over time, so even if you’ve done it before, a quick check now can make all the difference.

A few tips:

  • Use permanent marker or name labels that won’t wash off.
  • Encourage your child to check the lost property box if they’ve misplaced something.
  • Check labels at home too — children sometimes come home with someone else’s jumper by mistake.

Thank you for helping us keep track of everyone’s belongings and reducing waste (and replacement costs!).

Have a great week!
