Bush Talk

With a gloriously sunny day, we gathered around the fire to talk and continue to work on our bush skills, introducing a the new skill of weaving with flax from along the Panfield Ave entry.

This week’s topic was about facing change, how it is part of the human experience.  We discussed personal strategies that we each find helpful in dealing with change and that our attitude determined how well we were able to deal with change. 

It is wonderful watching the group become more capable and thoughtful as they work on their skills. Thoughtfulness becoming evident in so many little actions like taking care of precious tinder and showing care for each other is a delight to see.
