On Monday 12 May we recognised International Nurses Day. This important day aims to acknowledge and celebrate the nursing profession and the vital role nurses play in supporting our community.

At Pittwater House we are incredibly fortunate to have Nikki Kuga and Ingrid Scouller on staff. Nikki and Ingrid show genuine care and concern for our students and strive to ensure that their health needs are understood and met. Whether this is as simple as cleaning a graze to conducting an assessment following a significant fall, Nikki and Ingrid support each student who presents to the Health Centre, sometimes in their most vulnerable moments.

Our students recognised International Nurses Day by writing cards, drawing pictures, and going to the Health Centre to say a personal thank you.

On behalf of the School community, I express my appreciation and thanks to Nikki and Ingrid. Their commitment and compassion make a noticeable difference to our School community, and we are truly grateful to have them with us.
