Semester 1 Reports

In term 1 we focused our teaching and learning on getting to know our students. We begun by building relationships with each student; in order to know our students and achieve the best from them we needed to take the time to build relationships. We hold high expectations of all our students and the belief that all students can and will learn. We looked back at historical data, using XUNO - Student Maps and previous IEP/Reports to know where our students were last working at and achieving. We referred to JSA Assessment schedule and commenced pre assessments, and using a triangulation of data, we were able to ascertain where each student was currently what at or towards. At the end of term 1, completed IEPs were sent to families/carers. As we move into term 2 and are in the mist of our teaching and learning programs we begin to collect data and complete assessments to measure student learning and progress. Report writing is a wonderful time to celebrate not only the success of our students' learning but the success and growth of the teaching team.
