💬 GEM Chats: Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness
Across all year levels, students participate in GEM Chats, which provide a space to reflect, share, and build emotional awareness. These short, purposeful conversations encourage:
- Gratitude – recognising the positives in our day
- Empathy – understanding how others feel
- Mindfulness – learning to be present and calm
🧠 Try this at home: At dinner or bedtime, ask your child:
"What was something kind someone did for you today?""How did you show kindness to someone else?""What are you grateful for today?
🖤💛❤️ Reconciliation Week
Over the past week, students across Foundation to Year 6 have engaged in meaningful learning experiences as part of National Reconciliation Week. Through stories, discussions, art, and reflection, students explored the 2025 theme: “Now More Than Ever”—reminding us that the journey toward truth-telling, justice, and stronger relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples continues.
