Creative Arts Showcase 2023

Year 11 Practical students were invited to participate in a ‘Meet the Artist Talk’ and a private viewing of the Year 12 exhibiting students in the Practical Showcase for 2023. This opportunity gave Year 11 students a chance to hear personally from these students and ask questions about the development of their works, including their concepts, skills and techniques, management of their time, helpful hints and tips for the future. This valuable time encouraged real world connections between the students to build a sense of care and support between the year groups and inspire Year 11 as they begin their next steps.

The Showcase included all students from Industrial Technology Multimedia, Software Design Development, Design Technology and Visual Arts. Many students and staff visited the exhibition during the day which was opened to the community in the evening. A big congratulations to our ‘People’s Choice Award’ recipients Rory, Ruby and Joshua (CG12), their works were voted to be the most popular from our guests over the exhibition. Lastly to all students you should be very proud of your work, thank you to your friends and your families who attended the evening and have supported you throughout the year.

Senior Performing Arts Night - Reminder

Lastly, we would like to invite the Pittwater House community along to the Senior Performing Arts Night on Thursday 7 September in the Great Hall.  Doors open at 5.30pm. This event will showcase our elective Photography and Digital Media and Visual Arts Students works together with a selection or Years 7 and 8 artworks of outstanding talent.
