At our recent school assembly, we celebrated the remarkable academic achievements of our students for Semester 1. 

 

From outstanding grades to exemplary cultural and sporting achievement, Delphinus House continues to shine brightly with a commitment to excellence. The past semester has been a testament to the dedication and hard work of Delphinus House students. Their pursuit of knowledge, rigorous study habits, and unwavering commitment to academic growth have resulted in an impressive array of accomplishments.

 

Honoring Top Delphinus Achievers

 

We are delighted to commend Kiara Lay Year 10 for her dedicated commitment to her studies. Kiara has achieved exemplary results in her accelerated VCE Legal Studies and is a participant in the STEM High Achiever’s Program. Kiara was also admitted to the Monash Scholars program that allows her to engage with Monash University throughout Years 10, 11 and 12 and to connect with students from other participating schools.

In Delphinus House, we understand that academic excellence is nurtured through a supportive and encouraging environment. Our dedicated learning mentors and subject area teachers play a crucial role in fostering a community where intellectual curiosity thrives. The following Delphinus students were recognised for their outstanding achievement across all subject areas in Semester 1.

Year 10 Kiara Lay and Bass Olsen. 

Year 11 Gabriel McDonald and Royce D’Mello. 

Year 12 Keisha Yan Chellapen and Tameeka Haggett. 

 

Special commendations are awarded to Alex Bennets (reading) and Alvin Sem (reading/numeracy)  who scored highly in the NAPLAN testing this year. 

Well done to both boys. Delphinus students were active participants in the Premier’s Reading Challenge. Well done to Christa Biju, Giselle Phutully, Sanjana Goreeka and Aryan Ghanekar for committing to the challenge.

A Call to Inspire:

Several of Delphinus’ students have been recognised for their consistent contribution to College life by being awarded Stella Stars. Congratulations to Jennifer Justin (Bronze), Kiara Lay and Caitlin Cross (Silver) and Dehara Madagama Gamage (Gold) for their outstanding contributions and support of our great House.

 

Delphinus House continues to stand as a beacon of academic excellence and participation within our College community. We celebrate the achievements of our students and look forward to witnessing even greater accomplishments in the semesters to come.
