Year 1 and Year 2 Learning Walks

Excellence in Practice is our school's Strategic Direction 2 focus in our School Improvement Plan. Just like our students, all of our teachers and staff members continue to learn as adults as well!

In Week 8 and 10, the Year 1 and 2 teachers engaged in Learning Walks where teachers visited each other's classrooms to share the great learning in small group reading and Literacy Centre activities. 

It was fantastic to share our learning activities and practices with each other. Thank you to all of the Stage 1 teachers for opening up their classrooms to share their expertise with others. 

We are looking forward to planning an engaging Term 4 literacy program based on the students' abilities, interests and backgrounds.
