Setup for Success 

Last week at Set Up the children immersed themselves in a world of movement and rhythm in a dance class held by Versatility Dance Centre. The props, including bubbles, scarves, and shakers, became an extension of their bodies as they danced to songs such as 'baby shark' and 'sleeping bunnies'. The finale of the session was a parachute game—the children laughed and squealed in joy as they watched the colourful parachute rise and fall repeatedly. 

The dance class provided an engaging platform for the children to express their creativity and develop gross motor skills, critical components in their physical development. They danced, moved, and manipulated props in rhythm with the music, invoking the sense of body awareness and coordination, important markers as per the EYLF's outcome 3, 'Children have a strong sense of wellbeing.'

ABOUT SETUP AND WEEKLY SESSION INFORMATION

SetUp for Success is back for Term 3 and we are excited to be rolling out our activity packed program for the little ones with mum/dads/carers to enjoy with us and together.

Every Friday morning during school term/s

Time: 9am - 10:30am

Venue: Early Learning Centre at JPII Catholic School or on excursion.

Mums, dads, carers are welcome to join us in our beautiful Early Learning Centre for Setup for Success on a Friday morning together with your birth to 5 year old child for a wonderful morning of imagination, discovery, connecting and fun! 

Setup for Success is perfect for pre-kinder students and younger children.  There is something for all children to ignite their imaginations, learn and have fun with.
