'Music to our Ears'

In Term 3, Music classes have been exploring the Xylophone. Grade 3-4 students have enjoyed learning the “Cookie Jar Rap” and including improvisation into their performance. 

Grade 5/6 Huon have been teaching Mrs Nolan how to play bucket drums, even practicing outside normal music class time. Their thunderous drumming can be heard reverberating across the whole school! 

The choirs and rock band have also been very busy preparing songs for the upcoming school concert early in Term 4. We are looking forward to the chance to present our music to an audience!
