END OF TERM BBQ – Thursday September 14, 2023

Order forms have gone out and are due back by September 8 if your kids would like a BBQ lunch on Thursday September 14, 2023. The profits from this End of Term BBQ will be going towards a new bed for our sick bay.

For any new families, at the end of each term a few of our parents organise and distribute a BBQ lunch for those who order in advance (all items are purchased according to returned forms so late orders will not be accepted).  Items to pre-order include Sausages in bread (including Halal and Vegetarian), Juice box and Popcorn.  If you cannot locate your child’s order form then grab a new one at the office.

 

‘HOT CHOC’ FRIDAY – 3.30pm at the Food Tech Window

Warm up on a Friday afternoon this term and buy a Hot Chocolate (served with a marshmallow).  Bring along your $2 to the Food Tech Window.  To minimise waste, we encourage as many as possible to bring along their own mug!

TOASTIES TUESDAY LUNCH ORDERS

Thank you to Denise, Vanessa S and Elvira for cooking the toasties each Tuesday and a thank you to Courtney and Vannesa F for preparing the toasties each week.  We wouldn’t have been able to do it without Woolworths Prahran, who donate all the supplies we use to make the toasties every week. 

 

CADBURY CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISER

We have some Cadbury Variety Jumbo Boxes and are looking for parents or carers who could possibly do some fundraising for the school by selling chocolates in their workplaces.  Can you help us out with this?  Please contact Elaina on 0407 431 429 for further information.

End of Term Pick-up Pop-Up Cake Stall

Friday 15th September 

Calling all bakers!

We will be holding our end of term Pick-up Pop-Up Cake Stall on Friday 15th September from 2.30pm to bring in the school holidays!  Money raised will help purchase a new bed for the sick bay. 

Cupcakes! Muffins! Slices! Biscuits! Savouries! all welcome. Items will be priced between $1-$4. Baked goods can be dropped off to the food tech (OSHC) room on Friday 15th September at 9am or 2pm.

Fundraising Event Planners Needed

Have you thought of a great fundraising idea that you would like to organise for WPS?  We would love to hear from you and are happy to support you in getting it organised!

 

We would also like to thank Coles Prahran for continuing their generous weekly donation of $50 until the end of 2023.  Some of the support staff and parents are running some small cooking classes each week which we hope to expand and continue in the future.  Amber and the team at Coles Prahran have happily offered to cover the cost of purchasing the ingredients each week.  We are so appreciative of their constant support to WPS.
