Interview with Jameel Marashli
Year 5D teacher
How long have you worked at
BNPS?
- I started working at BNPS in 2019, though I also attended here as a student!
Who inspires you?
- I had a Year 6 teacher who showed me kindness and empathy during a time I needed it the most. So, I aspire to be like him for my students.
What is your favourite thing to do on weekends?
- I love going to different places around Victoria for hikes and camping.
If you could go on a holiday anywhere in the World, where would you go?
- Japan, in a heartbeat, even if I've been 5 times before...
Are you an early bird or a night owl?
- Either, once I am up, I'm up, but I don't mind staying up late watching the newest movies.
What might someone be surprised to know about you?
- Some may think that I'd mention that I am an identical triplet, but I won't. I will say I have been on TV twice, with my brothers.
What recently made you smile?
- The Matilda's winning their game against France definitely made me smile and I'm not even that big of a soccer fan!
If you could swap places for a day, who would you choose?
- Being Spider-Man would be pretty cool.
What would you like to say to the students at BNPS?
- Never let others change who you are, YOU'RE ALL AWESOME!
