Prep Transition

Yesterday, Thursday 31st August we held our second prep transition session for our 2024 preps. Our Art teacher, Shea McFarland ran the session so that the children were able to meet one of our specialist teachers. Shea read the story ‘What Makes A Rainbow’ written by Betty Schwartz, then we sang the rainbow song, with some of the children coming out to the front to wave the rainbow coloured streamers as we sang. Shea then introduced the activity for the session, which was making a rainbow using coloured strips of paper, a ½ paper plate and cotton wool balls for the clouds. All the children went home proudly carrying the rainbows that they made.

All the children who attended this session were also give a special ‘Ready for Prep’ t-shirt.
