Hoop Time

Yesterday was 5/6 Hoop Time Day at Nunawading Basketball Stadium. We had 8 teams competing in the competition and had a hugely successful day. We had an awesome day with all our teams getting wins on the board and many students playing competitive basketball for the first time. Our Future Stars team - Mitcham Magpies- made it to the semi final but unfortunately lost in a very close game by only 1 point. The All Stars team - Mitcham Magic- won all their games for the day and made it to the grand final where they won 17-12. They will progress to the next stage which will happen in term 4. Congratulations All Stars!!

It was such a great day and our students showed excellent respect and what it means to be a good sport. We are so proud of all of them and what they achieved yesterday! GO MITCHAM!!! 

5/6 Interschool Sports

A great day was had at the Grade 5/6 Interschool Sports today.  Our students were involved in Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket and Hot Shots Tennis.  Many of the teams reported wins and ALL reported lots of fun and comradery that is a part of team sports. please find below some action shots from today's basketballers.
