Dear Parents and Carers
This month I would like to share with you some maths activities that you might like to do with your child over the holidays.
The activities are designed to challenge your child and support their problem solving skills. Please encourage your child to persevere through the tasks and work together with them to solve the problems. The notes at the end of the tasks are a guide to help you to support your child. Mistakes and risk taking are all a part of learning and growth. Having a positive experience with maths problems such as these will nurture perseverance and a growth mindset. So have fun and challenge each other!
