Year 3/4 Matilda Jr Reviews

Our school did a production called Matilda Jr at St Anthony's Parish Hall. They were inspired by the book called Matilda by Roald Dahl. Tickets were $6 for the 1:30pm and $8 for the 6pm. Good value, don’t you think?

The cast actors were amazing as their characters, they performed in a realistic way. Dylan was Bruce. Dylan’s singing when starting ‘Revolting Children’ was amazing.

Tanisha was Miss Trunchbull and her school’s motto is ‘Bambinatum est Maggitum’ because she doesn't like children.

I was so impressed by the cameras Mrs Trunchbull had in her office set. Bruce's cake was so realistic. My favourite costumes were Mrs Trunchbull’s and the ensembles. The newt that went into Mrs Trunchbull’s knickers was one of my favourite props.

The show was amazing, I gave the production 5 stars because it was exactly like the movie. Maybe even better!

I was curious to watch the play of Matilda Jr in the St Anthony's

Parish Hall. The tickets were only $8.00, such a good price!

I liked Dylan acting as Bruce. Loi did great acting and singing as Nigel and Tanisha as Miss Trunchbull performed with a scary but entertaining voice.

I liked the lights because they were very bright and had cool colours.  I liked Miss Trunchbull’s set with cameras because it looked like it had 3D printed screens.

I think the play was very good. I liked how all of the classes came together to sing all the songs in Matilda Jr.
