What's on in the Community Hub?

Hello Everyone,

What a fantastic term we'vehad in our Community Hub.

OneSight Vision Screening

More than 150 students had their eyes tested as part of the screening from OneSight in July.  Students requiring follow up appointments were given vouchers to receive a pair of glasses for free. Optometrists and other staff volunteered their time to visit us at St Anthony’s.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club continues to be very busy three days a week with approximately 60 students attending each day.  Chobani are continuing to donate yoghurt and local parishioners are donating bread from Aldi stores. 

Light Up Our Streets

St Anthony’s will participate in the City of Greater Dandenong Light Up Our Street Community Lanterns Project in Noble Park.  Keep an eye out for the display near the Noble Park Railway Station next term. 

Visit from Gabrielle Williams MP and Sonja Hood CEO Community Hubs Australia

On Friday 8 September Gabrielle Williams and Sonja Hood visited St Anthony’s Community Hub.  Debbie facilitated a special playgroup session and lunch on the day.  English Language Program participants met our visitors and were keen to learn about their roles in our community.
