Message from the Principal

St Anthony’s Parish and St Anthony’s School hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as central and fundamental responsibilities of the Church.

St Anthony’s is fully compliant with all policies in relation to Child Safety. These documents ensure compliance with the Victorian Government Child Safety Standards which took effect on 1 January 2017 and reflect our Parish's ongoing commitment to ensuring that all children are safe, happy and empowered.

Dear Families and Friends,

What an amazing term we have shared with so many highlights and achievements to celebrate!

Recently students celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation at a beautiful Mass prepared by our Parish Sacramental Team and celebrated by Bishop Tony Ireland.  We celebrated Father's Day with an activity afternoon and some yummy afternoon tea, we welcomed a new addition to our Community Garden, our students have been achieving fantastic results in the athletics, students have been flourishing and making great growth within their learning and our flowers that we planted on St Anthony's day are in full bloom.

Our major highlight of the term was certainly our production of Matilda Jr. Our students shined on stage and a team of extremely talented and hardworking tech and backstage ensured the show went on without a hitch. I am so proud of the efforts of all staff and students. A further update and some photos of our spectacular production are found later in the newsletter.

Leaving St Anthony's

Early next term we will be working on classes for 2024, if your family is leaving St Anthony's at the end of the year please contact the office to inform us.

Summer Uniform for Term 4

Term 4 sees warmer weather, students are to wear their summer uniforms from Week 1 of next term. We ask that students do not wear legging or tights under their dresses, instead we invite students to wear shorts underneath. Please also ensure that students have their St Anthony's school hat at school as they will need to wear these every break time when the UV rays are 4 or above.

Prep 2024 Parent Information Evening

On Tuesday 10th October we have our parent information evening for all parents who have a child starting Prep in 2024. The meeting will be held in the prep rooms and will start at 6pm.

I wish everyone a safe and relaxing holiday with time spent enjoying the sunshine with family and friends. If your footy team in still in the finals I wish them luck!

We look forward to seeing everyone back at the start of Term Four on Monday 2nd October.
