Somers Camp photos

Year 1 and 2 students learning about the writing process using author Jackie French and her Wombat Diary Stories as mentor texts, each child has chosen their own animal to write a story about in the same style.  The published them as little books.

Year 1 students counting collections of 10 to understand that 10 ones is 1 ten.  Also to count using words 1 ten, 2 tens, etc.

Our Computer Captain ran a great lunchtime club with Year 5 students.  He taught them about the differences between Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).

Last week students had a great time participating in a Hockey clinic run by Waverley Hockey Club.
