District Swimming
On Monday the 24th of February, 32 APS students competed at district swimming, which was held at Northcote pool. Everyone’s hard work and dedication paid off. Whether you set a personal best, cheered on a teammate, or just gave it your absolute best effort, you made this experience unforgettable. The energy was electric, and it was clear that each swimmer was committed to pushing their limits. Natalie had to sneak in a few words of encouragement even though she wasn't allowed to because she was on timing duties.
APS couldn't be prouder of how each swimmer gave it their all in the pool. From the very first splash to the final race, we saw determination, teamwork, and kindness. Our girls and boys team both came 3rd overall in the school standings.
We will have a team of 9 advancing to divisionals which will be held on Thursday the 13th of March. To those who didn’t advance to the next stage, know that your hard work and commitment are something to be incredibly proud of. You gave it your best and that's all that matters.
