PE News Term 1

To kick off the year in PE, students enjoyed a variety of fun activities with pool noodles. Since then, students from Prep to Year 3 have been focusing on improving their throwing and catching skills. The Years 4 to 6 have been learning Softcross, a simplified version of Lacrosse, where they’ve been mastering the techniques of scooping, passing, and catching.

In addition to these skills, all students have been working on building their running endurance in preparation for the upcoming cross-country event at the end of the term.

We’ve also had successful days at interschool sports, with our Year 5 & 6 teams — both Softcross mixed and girls’ — being crowned district champions at the gala days. Additionally, several of our students performed exceptionally well at the district swimming carnival.
