Kindergarten - 

Ranger Jamie Incursion 

On Thursday, Kindergarten had two special visitors: Ranger Crystal and Ranger Sage.

First, the rangers showed us some interesting animals, and we talked about the different habitats where they can be found.

We then got to do an experiment on how water changes when we put different liquids into it. We added paint, shampoo, vegetable oil, talcum powder, and sunscreen to water. We learned that this is called pollution and can hurt our animals.

We made birdhouses and hung them high and low in the trees near the library. We hope that Peaky will make it its home.

Next, we went hunting for bugs. We looked very hard to see how they use camouflage to hide in the environment.

Finally, we built habitats for different animals using natural materials.

We had the best day ever!
