STUDENT & FAMILY INFORMATION UPDATE - IMPORTANT
If any of your personal details have changed (address, mobile number, medical etc.), please contact the school office know as soon as possible by email to admin@smstkildaeast.catholic.edu.au.
Please continue to update us with any changes in details - medical changes can be made on Operoo and any forms/copies to be dropped into office. Any students with asthma or allergies must have an asthma pump or allergy medication stored at the school, kept onsite in our first aid room. These are reviewed annually and it is important our information and any medications are up to date. If you are unsure, please reach out to Mrs Kat on katherine.reade@smstkildaeast.catholic.edu.au .
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK
A working with children check is imperative if you would like to be involved in excursions and onsite school activities. It is an easy online application, free for volunteers and lasts a couple of years. Once completed, please drop a copy for us to have on file - as well as showing us the card to have a copy on file.

SCHOOL UNIFORM
All children must wear the correct school and sports uniform. School shoes can be black leather or sturdy well fitted black durable runners. Coloured runners may be worn with the sports uniforms.
SCHOOL UNIFORM SHOP is open on Fridays
8:45am to 9:00am & 3:15pm to 3:30pm (school jumper only).
Hair is to be neat and tidy and with long hair to be tied back with a navy ribbon or hair elastic. Girls wear navy socks with their uniform. For Health and Safety reasons, jewellery is to be kept to a minimum with no bangles or necklaces except for those of a religious nature. However, remember that these can be lost or pulled through playing.
SUNSMART SCHOOL
We are a sunsmart school and the policy is ‘No Hat, No Play’. Only school hats are to be worn during Term 1 and Term 4
LUNCH ORDERS
Lunch orders are available on Mondays and Thursday. Online Order Portal –www.yourschoolcanteen.com.au to register. Orders must be placed by 8:30am. If you require any assistance with getting started please do not hesitate to call 1300 116 637 or email siobhan@yourschoolcanteen.com.au.
CSEF (Camps, Sports & Excursion Fund) - FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school camps, excursions and sporting activities. If you hold a valid Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card or Health Care Card (CRN) you may be eligible for CSEF. An application form is below, please fill it out and return to the school office by 15th April 2025.
CATHOLIC SECONDARY ENROLMENT DATES for students starting Year 7 in 2027
Friday 15th August 2025 - Applications Close
Friday 17 October 2025 – Offers will be posted to prospective Year 7 applicants.
Friday 7 November 2025 – Final date for parents/carers to accept an offer made by the catholic secondary school.
ST MARY'S COLLEGE
