Friday Clubs

Finding passions at a young age is a good way to explore new experiences, find lifelong hobbies, and identify activities that bring you joy and fulfillment. It makes you consider strengths, interests, and values, and also to experiment and try new things. This also helps improve our reading as we develop new vocabulary and understandings about a variety of things which in turn increases our background knowledge.
Our students get to experience all of that with our Friday Clubs.
This is the third year students have teamed up with other students from various year groups and spent each term exploring a new topics. Staff love sharing their super powers with students and we are very lucky to have staff who have a wide range of creative, problem solving and practical skills that they can share. We have students who have made meals together from scratch, created items with sewing skills and watched a garden they planted grow into delicious vegetables. We also have students who understand the basics of chess, have created magnificent art pieces with a working artist, and who have explored aspects of Indonesian culture.
Clubs are another of many reasons PVS is such a special place to be.
