Athletics Club
Megan Loffler and Brett Middleton are again running the Pilgrim Athletics Club which is open to all interested Year 2 - 6 students. The remaining two sessions will be held on Fridays 21st and 28th February (until Week 5) from 3.30pm to 4.15pm on the Campus Middle Oval. Please be aware that student supervision on the oval will not commence until 3.30pm.
Athletics Club teaches students skills for competing in long jump, high jump, discus, relays, shot put and running events. This will be a good lead up to Sports Day, SACSA Athletics training and the SACSA & Sapsasa carnivals later in the term.
Students will need to wear shoes suitable for athletics and have a sun hat with them for training. Students will have adequate time to change into their sports uniform after school before training.
All participating students should already be registered through Compass but if you have a child interetsed in attending who is not yeat registered, please contact the Front Offfice as soon as possible.
