Student Arrivals
Please remember that families are responsible for providing supervision of their child/ren up until the first bell of the day (8.30am) when classrooms open. If your child arrives at school before this time and you are unable to stay to supervise them, please ensure they go to sit in the Front Office.
Students regularly arriving without an adult before the start of school (8.30am) will need to be booked in the OSHC service.
Thank you for your assistance in keeping our children safe.
Pilgrim School Community Marion Pool Event
Despite being a cooler afternoon, we had 90 people attend our community event at Marion Outdoor Pool on Saturday 15th February. The waterslides and pools were well used on the day and everyone appreciated the sausage sizzle provided by P&F.
Special thanks to those that helped with the sausage sizzle, including Jon and Dee, Daeman, Jordan and Dan.
Student Representative Team (SRT)
The SRT is a group of students who are chosen to represent the voices and ideas of their classmates. They work together to plan fun events, share important school information, and help make decisions that improve our school community. The SRT members will meet regularly throughout the year to discuss how they can make Pilgrim School a better place for everyone. Being part of the SRT is a great way for students to develop leadership skills and make a positive impact on our school.
I would like to congratulate the following students on being elected as the 2025 SRT reps:
- Year 1/2F - Leo K
- Year 1/2O - Hannah F
- Year 3/4H - Zariah and Rodin
- Year 3/4B - Jacob P and Bethany
- Year 5/6M - Max M, Leo Z and Meha (ELT)
- Year 5/6S - Rafiki, Eli and Charlize (ELT)

Commencement Worship
In Week 3, we enjoyed an exciting and historic celebration at Worship with the introduction of our Foundation students to the whole school. This is always a highly anticipated moment for the Foundation students, parents and our Year 6s. The Year 6 students did a fabulous job reading the poems they had written and were wonderful at engaging their buddy. The poems are always a highlight and lots of giggles and sighs were heard as they were shared.
This Worship was another highlight for the beginning of the year as we dedicated the Pilgrim School community for 2025. Representatives from the Board, students, parents and staff shared promises and our Board Chair, Wendy P, prayed over our community for the year. It was a special way to begin a new year as we journey together in our Pilgrim community.

Emmaus Christian CollegeTours
Pilgrim School values its strong and long-standing partnership with Emmaus Christian College, a relationship built over many years. Many of our graduates choose to continue their education at Emmaus, as both schools share a commitment to nurturing young people in a supportive, Christ-centred community. Together, we uphold core Christian values, prioritise student wellbeing, foster strong family partnerships, and strive for outstanding academic success.
Pilgrim School students whose families meet the enrolment criteria for Emmaus Christian College receive priority. If you are considering Emmaus Christian College as a secondary pathway for your child, we strongly encourage you to begin the enrolment process as early as Year 3.
To help families explore Emmaus Christian College, two upcoming Secondary School (Year 7–12) tours at the South Plympton Campus are available for registration via the Emmaus website:
- Term 2 - Thursday 22 May: 9.00am - 11.00am
- Term 3 - Wednesday 6 August: 9.00am - 11.00am
We encourage families to consider secondary school options early to avoid disappointment of missing out on their preferred choice.
2025 Permissions
All families are required to complete our 2025 Permission Form. We are asking all families to please complete their preferences for communications from the school and permissions for the year via this Google Form.
Thank you to those families that have completed this form. If you still need to complete this, please click on the link below to complete details for your family.
Belong and Blossom Playgroup
Belong and Blossom occurs on Monday and Wednesday from 9.00am - 10.45am, during term time of school. To register please contact the Front Office, so you can receive our weekly emails letting you know about the week ahead.
This is a time to connect with other parents and for your child to begin their connection with Pilgrim and some of the teachers in the Early Years team. We have story, craft and play times. We share fruit together and end our session with a story and some songs.
