▪️What’s On ...
Shrove (Pancake) Tuesday 4th March
We will be celebrating Pancake Tuesday and eating delicious pancakes on Tuesday 4th March. Please advise your child’s teacher if there are any food allergies or needs.
This year our Year 11 and Year 12 VM students will be cooking the pancakes for the whole school. All proceeds made on the day will be donated to CARITAS. More details will be provided in the coming weeks.
Ash Wednesday 5th March: 9am Mass
Students will be attending the Ash Wednesday Liturgy on Wednesday 5th March. Families are very welcome to join us to celebrate the beginning of Lent.
... A gentle reminder that we are a SunSmart School. Students who do not have their hat will have to sit under the shade during recess and lunch, in line with our SunSmart school policy.
... We would like to congratulate all students on their active engagement in the classroom. It is great to see students demonstrating pride in their own learning as well as the learning of others. Enabling Everyone’s Right to Learn is the PBL (Positive Behaviour Program) focus for the next two weeks.
... Year 5 and Year 6 are looking forward to their Canberra Excursion taking place 17th - 21st March. Thank you to our wonderful teachers Mr Falls, Mrs Evans, Miss Hurst and Miss Rudd for preparing our students for their first interstate excursion, and to the parents who will be going on the camp as well.
*Congratulations to Ava Pearce and Savanah Llorente (Year 6), Kyra Pearce (Year 10), Mia Brown (Year 7) and Cohen Hill (Year 7) who competed at Regional Little Athletics last weekend in Albury. Congratulations to Savanah, Mia and Kyra who will compete at State Little Athletics in April.
