Special Mystery Readers WANTED!
Dear Parents,
I hope this message finds you well. We have an exciting activity coming up in our library this year, and I hope many of you can be a part of it.
Over the next few weeks, we are introducing Mystery Reader to your child’s library session. On this special day, a surprise guest will be visiting our library to read aloud to the students. But here’s the fun part… the identity of the reader will be a mystery! Each reader will provide subtle clues leading up to their visit, and the students will have to guess who they are.
I am reaching out to ask if you would like to be one of our Mystery Readers! If you’re interested, please get in touch via e-mail, dojo or pop in to see me Tuesday/Wednesday with the following details:
- Name and relationship to the student (e.g., Mum, Dad, Aunt, Uncle, etc.)
- 5 clues about your student, by the end of the five clues your student should be the only one left standing.
- Preferred date for your visit. (this will need to fall on the same day as your students allocated library session which will be a Tuesday or Wednesday).
- It’s a Mystery, so please do not let your child know if you are coming in.
This activity is for students in the following classes. Bilbies, Magpies, Kangaroos, Quokkas and Echidnas. The Wallabies will join us for term 2, once they have settled into school life.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
Warm regards,
Mrs Preston
Library Officer
