SCHOOL WIDE POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR FOR LEARNING

This year at McAuley we have introduced the Puggle System.

Students can earn a puggle stamp in their class booklet when they display respectful, responsible and safe behaviours.

Students can also receive a puggle in Library, music, PE rotations or in the playground, at Mass and assembly for positive behaviour towards others. If they receive a puggle from another teacher, they put it in the class puggle pot and get a stamp in their booklet.

When their booklet is complete they will receive a Puggle Bag Tag to keep. There are 10 different levels (colours) of bag tags to collect. Fairly soon you may have your child bring home a blue puggle bag tag. This is something to celebrate with your child as they have been displaying respectful, responsible and safe behaviour.

On Wednesday at assembly whichever class has the most puggles in the pot will get to look after 'Puggsley' for the week.

If your child is finding it difficult to come to school, please contact the Wellbeing Team as soon as possible so that we can put strategies in place to support your child and their attendance at school.
