Year 4

This week in Grade 4, we have been reading our book Kensuke's Kingdom. In spelling we have been using short and long vowel sounds. In writing we have started thinking on how we can persuade the reader through our writing, for example how we could persuade Mrs Vaz to give us a longer recess. 

In Maths we have been learning how to do vertical addition and subtraction, we even worked on regrouping to the nearest ten. 

We have also just started looking at our Inquiry unit about Biodegradability. We are all looking forward to having Mr. Giles back next week and will miss having Jasmine. 

It has also been a lot of fun in our Specialists classes this week.
