Parent-Teacher Communication

In our Parent Information Night sessions, our teachers will have shared with you some helpful information about communication. We want to share and partner with parents and caregivers to provide a safe and successful educational environment.

Parents and caregivers are most welcome to touch base with teachers in the mornings or after school to connect. If you have an issue that requires a longer conversation, please send an email to arrange a time to speak with your child’s teacher. Our teachers spend most of their day working alongside children, and therefore cannot always read emails immediately. At the same time, we honour and value that teachers have families and need down time also.  Therefore, emails may take 1 to 2 days to be followed up. An email sent at 11pm is not expected to be read by teachers prior to the beginning next school day. For any time-sensitive queries, we recommend that you use the admin email address and/or call the school office. After hours messages are checked each morning by administration staff.

Thank you for working with our wonderful teachers to support our children.

Mid-Year Enrolments

Did you know that we now have a mid-year Reception intake? Children who turn 5 years of age from October to April are eligible to be admitted in Term One.  Children who turn 5 years of age in from May to October are eligible to be admitted in Term Three. Dependent on the availability of places, parents and caregivers can also choose to enrol their child in a later intake.

We are now enrolling for 2026 beginning and mid-year, and for 2027 beginning of year. (Note that we do have a few spots left for mid-year 2025). If you have a child for whom you have not year completed enrolment paperwork, please contact our registrar, Laura Azzopardi, as soon as possible: lazzopardi@stpaulba.sa.edu.au. Siblings receive priority enrolment, however we need the enrolment form to ensure they are included in numbers and don’t miss out.
