Year 4 Shadow Judging Creative Response Gallery
The Year 4 students and teachers are very proud to share our wonderful Creative Responses via the CBCA (Children's Book Council of Australia) Shadow Judging website!

When you navigate to the ‘Deer Park West Primary School’ responses, if you click on the cover image of our decorated classroom doors, a collection of close-up images is available for you to view.
Along with having our creative work publicly shared via the CBCA Shadow Judging website, each of the Year 4 classes were able to vote in the Shadow Judging Awards (student voice and choice).
4B and 4C voted for the Shadow Judge winner - Every Night at Midnight, by Peter Cheong - which was very exciting!
Over 200 classes and small groups across Australia, from early childhood centres, primary schools and secondary colleges participated in the Shadow Judging Awards this year. Students of 4A, 4B and 4C are so proud to have been involved.
Take a moment to view some of the other creative responses from students all over Australia. Perhaps you might be inspired to read one of the CBCA Shortlisted books as a result. We have multiple copies of all the shortlisted books recommended for primary school students available to borrow at our Library! Reading is Magic!!!!
