The enrolment and subject selection process is now complete for Year 10 students studying at GYC in 2025. Correspondence will be sent to parents confirming subject selections and HEAD START week details in the near future.


Year 10 Transition Plan Statement 

Early in Term 4, Year 10 Pathways teachers will be asking students to submit information that outlines their plan for post-Year 10 education and training. Each student who complies will therefore be issued with a Transition Statement under Section 90 of the Education Act 2016.This statement will appear on their end of year report.

What is happening in Pathways during Term 3?

Year 9:

Getting work ready

Topics covered include resume building, seeking casual work and the application process, and experiencing a mock interview.

Year 10: 

Post College Options

Focusing on discussing GAP year opportunities, accessing Certificate qualifications with RTOs, apprenticeships, traineeships, the world of work and studying at university. Each option will look at the advantages and disadvantages through the eyes of each student.
