Around the Primary Classrooms

Year 1

Year 1 fully embraced the magic of Book Week. There were a range of characters form wizards to ballerinas, zoo keepers to mermaids and princesses to puppy dogs. We loved parading our costumes and sharing the joy of books with the other primary classes.

Year 3

Our Year 3 students had a blast celebrating Book Week 2024! 

They dressed up in a variety of creative costumes, from crayons to fairy tale characters. To help their classmates find great books to read, they wrote book reviews. As part of their novel study on The Iron Man by Ted Hughes, they also enjoyed watching the animated film The Iron Giant. It was a fantastic week filled with reading, fun, and imagination!

Year 5

Year 5 have been enchanted by this year's book week theme and have loved racing to read the Choose Your Own Adventure Hunt designed by the Secondary Curriculum Leaders, Tibby and Megan.  

They have also been working on an oral book review- "The Book You Mustn't Miss".
