Learning in J42

Junior School Anderson is sharing the learning taking place in their class…

J42 have been learning about life in Mesopotamia.

They have completed an array of displays that will be hung up in the classroom and the Grade 1 and 2 corridor. Students learnt about civilisations that developed farming, the importance of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, and the Mesopotamians' culture.

The students were asked what the most interesting thing they learned about Mesopotamia was.

Aurora: The rivers carry rich soil to farmers.

Lillie: Hammurabi was a powerful king to Mesopotamians

Subaig: Babylon was the richest city in Mesopotamia

Finley: Mesopotamia is in between two rivers, the Tigris and the Euphrates.
