Year 6

Year 6 

Throughout the term in Science, Year 6 have been looking at how fibre is made into garments. We attempted to cultivate some silkworms, however the weather is too cold for them at the moment so we may try again later in the year. Year 6 had a demonstration of how cotton is spun on a spinning wheel and 6 Yellow had the opportunity to try out a loom to weave some fabric. 

In Week 7 we celebrated Book Week and spent time with our buddies all dressed up! We played trivia in Kenna Hall and compared our cool costumes.
